Companion is a hired-helping character which is one of the unique systems available in Neverwinter for all characters. At rank 16, the quest “A Companion” becomes available from Sergeant Knox in Protector’s Enclave.

Defender Companion for Neverwinter Astral Diamonds

Striker Companions are designed to dish out high damage. Often referred to as DPS companions their primary stats and gear slots are set up to allow optimal customization to the player to create their perfect DPS companion. The Striker Companion is ideal for any classes wishing to gain a boost on their overall Damage Output.

  • A true and loyal dog faces the harshest dangers to stay near his companion. Dogs are versatile and make a good companion for any adventure. A dog companion has Bites that deals damage to target and can takedown targets.

 

You can hire a number of companions that initially take the form of an item in your inventory. Double clicking the companion item will activate it. Companions can range from simple mercenary humanoids to pet-like creatures and even glowing stones that circle the head. A single companion can be summoned at any time outside of combat to help you in combat.

Companions can be purchased for Gold, Neverwinter Astral Diamond, Zen, Seals, Ardent Coins, Trade Bars and Glory or found as rare drops. Most companions can be acquired from the Grand Emporium in Protectors Enclave, or from the Zen market. A unique companion is also included in several of the games purchasable Packs.

Luckily for you, this Quasit is bound to you by magic and shall “advise” you as the newest companion in Neverwinter, available for purchase in the Zen Market on January 21!

Quasit – While the Quasit’s evil nature makes it never to be trusted, many adventurers do summon and bind them for their demonic insight.

The tiny Quasit is an Augment companion with initial stats in Hit Points, Power, Recovery and Armor Penetration. Its Active Bonus gives you +1,500 Regeneration, which increases to 2,250 if you have the three set bonus for the Drowcraft or Dusk armor sets.
