To help tie the story of Underdark together, the game dev’s are introducing a new campaign for Neverwinter Astral Diamonds.
This is a simplified campaign that gives players a lot of freedom when deciding what they’d like to play to advance. There will only be two new campaign currencies, Faerzress and Demonic Ichor. These resources come from all of the expansions content. Grazilaxx, an exiled mind flayer, will be your primary contact and will lead you through the campaign.
Contents of the Campaign for Hunters of Neverwinter Astral Diamonds
The following details below are the contents of the new Underdark Campaign;
- Faerzress is magical radiation left over from the formation of the Underdark, used by drow in magical item creation. Thanks to Grazilaxx you have a means to capture it. Faerzress is the currency used to progress through the campaign. Every day you should ‘Process Faerzress’ and send it off to Grazilaxx to gain favor with the denizens of Mantol-Derith.
- Demonic Ichor is a viscous pitch made up of all that is left behind in the wake of a demon’s demise. It may be exchanged at the Equipment Trader in Mantol-Derith for powerful Drowcraft Armor or other high quality goods. They have added a weekly cap of 400 to the amount of Demonic Ichor that can be earned. This is in place of only rewarding campaign currency for daily or weekly missions.
Tasks for Neverwinter Astral Diamonds Hunting
To get rewards such as Neverwinter Astral Diamonds; you might take up these tasks;
- Process Faerzress – This is the task that will gain favor with the denizens of Mantol Derith and eventually gain your boons. It requires 200 Faerzress and 18 hours to complete. It is repeatable.
- Create Lesser Demonic Key – This task creates a key to open an extra treasure chest in the two skirmishes, Prophecy of Madness and Throne of the Dwarven Gods, as well as the Demogorgon fight. It requires 150 Faerzress and 20 hours. It is repeatable.
- Unlock Epic Demogorgon – This task will unlock the Epic Demogorgon fight and give you Greater Demonic Key. Once you have done this task it will be available for all other characters on your account from the start of the campaign.
