The Reputation System for STO Credits Buyers

The Reputation System is unlocked once a character reaches level 50 and may be located from the Character Status window (default keybind U). This system allows players to reach out to other factions and groups to complete projects in order to acquire items and new abilities that are specific to particular factions or groups.

The Reputation System: Tiers and Traits for STO Credits Buyers

Each reputation in the Reputation has five tiers. The first four tiers give rewards a passive ability. The fifth tier gives you a clickable or active ability. To be able to level up your tiers, you must accomplish projects and tasks to gain experience points.

Reputation traits are unlockable by progressing tiers of different factions in the Reputation System. Tiers one through five all unlock two traits each: one for ground, and one for space combat. Tier 5 grants one active trait. By default, each player has 12 reputation trait slots: 4 ground, 4 space, and 4 active. If you need an extra slot, you may purchase them at the Fleet Research Lab. Reputation traits can be reassigned in-game anywhere within social hubs or in sector space.

The Reputation System: Projects for STO Credits Buyers

You may see the list of projects available for each faction by clicking on the ‘Contribute’ tab or at any empty project slots. If you will notice, there is a column on the left of the window with 6 slots. These are your active projects that have not yet been completed. The column on the right displays your queued projects. When one active project is completed, it will disappear from the list on the left and one queued project from the right will take its place and become an active project.

The ‘Upgrade’ slot is where you’ll find various upgrade projects. This includes tiers that are available for upgrades when you’ve gained enough experience through completing projects. Clicking on any active project on the slots will allow you to contribute to it.

To be able to see the list of tasks required to complete a certain project, just click on the active project. If a project displays a blue Contribute button that signifies you have the items needed to contribute to it. However, if it is greyed out, it means you do not have the required items. You may purchase these items needed when you buy STO credits or by completing missions to get them.
