Time flies when you’re having fun, and it seems like Final Fantasy XIV players have been having fun flying around from place to place throughout Heavensward, so much so that a lot of people barely noticed that it’s already been a year since the Final Fantasy XIV’s first ever expansion came out. And now, after that massive success of an expansion, Eorzea will be entering a new age this year. Start farming FF14 Gil, because the next story of you Warriors of Light is dawning.
According to Naoki Yoshida, more cordially known as Yoshi-P to FFXIV veterans, the team will be announcing the game’s next expansion on the upcoming Final Fantasy Fan Festival, the biggest yearly gathering for Final Fantasy XIV players. Said event will be happening at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 14 and 15, 2016.
Where To? Betting My FFXIV Gil On…
There have been many speculations on what the expansion will be all about, what it contents will be, and where will it take players next, and as early as now they buy FFXIV gil as preparation. For content, other than new dungeons and raids, which are staples of the game, the expansion will probably be featuring new jobs: Samurai, which is probably a tank; Red Mage for DPS; and the Geomancer and Beast Master, which players still have a hard time speculating on the role they’ll take. And for the next frontier that players will be setting foot on, according to a lot of speculations, it’s going to be Ala Mhigo or Doma.
Ala Mhigo is an Eorzean city-state that is currently under the control of the Garlean empire. So, will the Warriors of Light be finally liberating this once-mighty and highly important part of the continent? Or maybe they’ll be taken to Doma instead? Because even though it’s a lot more unlikely, considering that Ala Mhigo is basically the neighbor of Ul’dah and is further entrenched under Garlean control than the former, it’s still a plausible location.
As of now, nothing is set in stone, as the dev team has yet to speak. One thing, however, is for sure: the next expansion is going to be a big one, and Eorzeans who have yet to be excited should start getting pumped…and start pumping in FF14 Gil.
