Staying alive is the most difficult task for an archon to fulfill during a raid. Due to their low defense mechanics, Archons are absolutely vulnerable during raid, especially in boss fights. There might be no solution to an archon being soft. However, good positioning, spamming the right skills and using the right armors through research will probably save an archon in a pinch or a drastic situation. This guide will pretty much cover the principles of becoming a competent archon during raids and become efficient when it comes to rift platinum.

Gaining Rift Platinum as an Archon: Top Priorities

As a buffer and a damage dealer for the party, staying alive is your first priority. You might not the only archon in your stack/party, but losing a character that can buff and deal damage is a huge lost for the party. With the right positioning and a little vigilant an archon may survive. Be cautious to monsters that can immediately change attack and maximize your range when it’s time for you to attack.

Buffing the raid is an archon’s second priority, keep your buffs updated during a raid. Let the front lines and damage per second classes handle the job, as you support them from the back.

After buffing all your teammates, time to prioritize on debuffing the enemy monsters. Apply your spells on monsters that are a threat in your party. Don’t mind the monsters that can easily be killed by your teammates.

The last thing an archon should do is dealing damage to enemies. It’s your last resort, if the party lacks damage dealers, then you have no choice but to give the front liners a hand.
