The Unicorns have arrived in RIFT with the Unicornalia event running from May 22 to May 29. Rift Platinum collectors can participate to get these magical mounts.
Unicornalia event for RIFT Platinum hunters
During the event period, Ascended will get a chance to help Unicorns from the Plane of Life. These refugees can be found in the capital cities. Taking their quests will reward RIFT platinum as well as a chance to get Unicorn mounts.
Getting these mounts while gathering RIFT Platinum
Opal Unicorn mounts can be obtained through the daily quests in Sanctum and Meridian. Onyx Unicorns on the other hand will be rare drops from the “Hooves and Horns” zone event. Platinum collectors can also buy the Limited Edition: Sparkle Troves which contain the mount in the RIFT store.
New enemies to eliminate for RIFT Platinum
Announced on June 18, the new Hellbugs Invade! Event will have players fighting swarms of bugs all across Telara. The vicious Hellbugs will also be appearing as new zone events in Stonefield, Gloamwood, Freemarch and Silverwood. RIFT Platinum as well as items awaits those who brave the challenge.
RIFT Platinum, mounts and pets to obtain
Successfully stopping the invasion will reward players with a new Hellbug mount. Players can also obtain Hellbug pets to accompany them while hunting Platinum. These pets will come in four different colors.
