akira reworked ship for hunters of sto credits

Each week we’ll be rolling out an additional reward for the Featured Episode “Broken Circle.” Last previous’s reward was the Reactive Armor Catalysts Pack. This week’s reward is the Jam Subspace Transmissions Universal Kit Module. In addition, the first completion of “Broken Circle” on an account this week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward box for STO Credits Hunter

Weekly Rewards for STO Credits Hunters

The weekly reward box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point, which gives the character who opens the box a Specialization Point. The weekly reward box, tech upgrade, and specialization point box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above.

Jam Subspace Transmissions triggers a burst of data in an area around the Captain, reducing weapon damage. The data burst also causes signal interference, preventing affected targets from maintaining subspace communications. The loss of communications prevents the successful fabrication or transportation of resources, such as generating hazardous fields, mines, or turrets. Captains can only equip one Jam Subspace Transmissions module at a time.

Akira Ship Remodel for STO Credits Hunters

The Starfleet Corps of Engineers have been hard at work in the war against the Iconians and STO Credits Hunters.

The Akira-class starship has always proven itself to be a formidable ship. This Heavy Escort is as effective as it is deadly. But with the arrival of our newest lineup of Heavy Escort Carriers, our engineers felt it necessary to give this iconic ship the update it deserves.

The Game Dev’s are happy to present our latest update to the Akira-class starship! They’ve remodeled the ship to show off a beautifully-high fidelity that will match our more recent starships. This updated model will be a free upgrade to any ship that has access to the Akira-class parts. Captains and STO Credits Hunters may have to visit the ship customization screen to see all of the new details.
