Star Wars: The Old Republic Season 1 has just ended after a 21 week run. As Season 2 is being prepared, the developers have announced changes to the season to maintain the intensity of PvP. Seasons will be shorter with rewards adjusted accordingly. Quests will also be introduced so players can earn SWTOR credits on the side.
Shorter season for quicker SWTOR Credits
After a brutally long season lasting 21 weeks, the developers of hit game Star Wars: The Old Republic will be shortening the length of seasons. The decision was made to keep the PvP intense and stave off players losing interest in the rankings. Starting with Season 2, new seasons will now last three months. The downside is that only three tiers of rewards will be available. The top players of the season though will now get unique rewards as a bonus. Time to hop onto your SWTOR account and spend some SWTOR credits to gear up your character!
PvP quests for SWTOR Credits
Players looking for more challenge in PvP will be glad to know that repeatable quests will be added with Season 2. These will be available at the PvP quest terminals near the Arenas. No details about the rewards have been released; however players can expect experience and SWTOR credits to be among them.
